FOR CARAVAN

Exhibitions and trade fairs experienced a very special year, when they were among the first to be completely closed and the strictest rules applied to them, when it came to short and partial release. The current weakening of the coronavirus epidemic in the Czech Republic in recent weeks has also brought news of the gradual opening of segments of the economy, sports or social life. And the first good news already concerns the trade fair sector.

Dear exhibitors, visitors of FOR CARAVAN and fans of motorhomes and caravans,

We would like to inform you about an important change in the date of the next year's FOR CARAVAN trade fair.

This event will take place on 26-28 November 2021 in the PVA EXPO PRAGUE complex in Letňany. Due to the coronavirus situation in the Czech Republic, we were forced to postpone the traditional March deadline, and thus support greater safety for exhibitors and visitors as well.

Due to the COVID situation, the FOR CARAVAN and FOR BOAT trade fairs, scheduled for October 9 – 11 has been canceled. The fairs will take place in March 2021. 

We tried to do our best to make this event take place this year. I would like express many thanks to our exhibitors who supported us and stood behind us even in this challenging time. I firmly believe that we will meet at the PVA EXPO PRAGUE exhibition center at the next date 12 - 14 March 2021, "announced ABF Executive Director Martin František Přívětivý.

in accordance to the extraordinary measures adopted by the Czech National Security Council today – 10 March 2020 are postponed all our trade fairs and another events with expected participation by more than 100 persons. Measures involve the nearest upcoming events organized at PVA EXPO PRAGUE.

Prague, 2 March 2020, 15:00 - ABF, a. s. is fully aware of the severity of the situation regarding the spreading coronavirus COVID-19 disease and closely monitor recommendations and measures of Czech National Security Council and public health protection agencies. At the moment there are no emergency measures declared by these authorities which would hamper holding public events including fairs and expositions. The only exception is the World Biathlon Cup in Nové Město na Moravě (5.-8. 3. 2020) with participants from all around the world including high-risk regions. Fairs planned in coming weeks at PVA EXPO Prague exhibition grounds are mainly attended by both exhibitors and visitors from Czech republic. The preparation of these events will therefore be the same as in previous years. With regards to recommendation of health authorities the preventative hygiene measures will be undertaken at PVA EXPO Prague exhibition grounds. 

In case appropriate authorities would declare any extraordinary measures or limitations for mass events the ABF a. s. company will immediately and appropriately react.

Although the offer for the publication of the data in the catalog is presented as free of charge, after completing and submitting the data, the client will receive an invoice for the payment of almost EUR 1200 per year.

Furthermore, ABF, a.s. declares that it has never granted the mentioned companies permission to use or promote the protected names or logos of trade fairs organized by ABF, a. s. and to address individual exhibitors on behalf of the organizer of the fair.

The success of the trade fairs FOR CARAVAN, FOR BOAT and FOR TRAVEL confirmes that the interest in the independent traveling, camping and water sports is still increasing. Almost 30 000 people visited PVA EXPO PRAGUE during 3 days, saw the presentation of 200 exhibitors on the area of 29 051 m2 in 6 halls. The variety  of the exhibitions was wide – you could have seen caravans, motorboats, sailing boats as well as luxury yachts.

An exhibition of historic caravans organized by the Autoclub of the Czech Republic as well as the accompanying program co-organised with the Czech yacht association  in hall n.6  were of great interest.

We would like to thank all exhibitors for a great atmosphere at the fair and all visitors for enormous interest. We are already starting to prepare the next edition of the trade fairs that will take place in March 2019.

The concurence of the 4 trade fairs will occupy 7 halls of the exhibition area in Letňany. Newly the trade fairs FOR TRAVEL and HLUBINA – diving exhibition for the divers  take place at the same time like FOR CARAVAN and FOR BOAT! Visitors can get an unique experience - a swimming pool for divers right in the grounds of the exhibition grounds!

From 10 to 12 March 2017 PVA EXPO PRAGUE hosted trade fairs FOR CARAVAN and FOR BOAT. Four halls were filled with novelties. Interest in motorhomes, caravans and boats confirmed the growing popularity of independent traveling and camping. During three days expositions of 129 companies were visited by a total of 24 213 visitors. There were signings, competitions or technology demonstration of this year's Dakar Rally equipment. Visitors could choose on fairs not only new cars and boats, but could also take some of the second-hand pieces.
